Hi Everyone

Well, its been a while since we were in a position to update  you with news of a public Quaynotes event.

The last live gig we played was on Friday March 13th, 2020 at Prohibition in Deganwy.  That was 506 days ago. From what I remember it was a fun gig, but it feels like a long time ago.

During the last 18 months we have “zoomed” with a few of you and managed to grab a few open air rehearsals (when the regulations allowed), but you can’t beat playing in front of a proper audience, in a nice venue, maybe with a dance floor, the clink of glasses and even some of Clive’s jokes.

Anyway we are happy to report that we will be playing at a new venue which has been created in Llandudno at “The Motorsport Lounge”, Builder Street.

Have a look at some of the pictures on their website on:

The Motorsport Lounge is an interesting mix of a competition car preparation and storage facility (downstairs) and a very pleasant social venue on the upper floor. The owners have done a great job of making the place musician and audience friendly. We hope it will become a regular slot on our schedule over the next few years. We have rehearsed there already and we are very excited about the opportunities this new venue gives us.

So our first gig there will be on Friday 27th August at 7.30pm Tickets at £8 are available from the link here , or from North Wales Honda (owners of The Motorsport Lounge) if you want a paper ticket.

We have a couple of new songs in the repertoire.
Clive tells me he has some new jokes.
Cookie has bought a new waistcoat.
We need to give “Mountain Mike” a new name because he has retired from the railway.
Roland is as enthusiastic as ever.
I just hate Zoom !!

So what’s not to like ?

We really hope to see you on the 27th. Please buy your ticket early so we can gauge demand and plan accordingly.

See you soon.
